Obituary of
Ora Lee Allen
July 14, 1972
Mrs. Ora Lee Allen, 79, died this morning at 5 o’clock in
Clarksville Memorial Hospital
following an extended illness. She was a yea a resident of Woodlawn.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 pm at Blooming Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Omer Crowder Jr. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body is at McReynolds Funeral Home.
Mrs. Allen was born is Montgomery Co. Nov. 14, 1892, daughter of the
late Walter and Margaret Smith Seay. She was a member of Blooming
Grove Baptist Church. Her
husband, John B. Allen died Tuesday and his funeral was held
yesterday. They were married Nov. 30, 1916.
Survivors are two sons, John and Phillip Allen, Clarksville; a daughter,
Mrs. Culluro C,laxton, Nashville; a brother, Walther Seay Jr., Detroit,
Mich.; five sisters, Mrs. Bertha Seay and Mrs.
Z. L. Harris, Clarksville; Mrs. Ballard Johnson, Griffin Ga.;
Mrs. JohnTaylor and Mrs. Homer Seay, Woodlawn; eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers was Simon Sleigh, Jess Jones, . Paul Rawlings, Wayman Min.niehan, Robert L. Hutchison Jr., Brown L. Allen, Ed Minniehan and Ralph Hall.
In lieu of other remembrances, the family asks any donations be made
to the Blooming Grove Missionary
