Obituary of

Thurlow Allen
April 2, 1987

 
Thurlow "Jack" Allen.  Route 12, died Tuesday at the Montgomery County Nursing Home following aa extended illness. The funeral will be at 11:30 am today at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with the Rev. WF Thompson officiating. Burial will be Liberty Cemetery.
 
Family visitation will be at the funeral home until time for the service.  He was born a Montgomery County on April 21, 1894. the son the of Overton and Mattie Rivers Allen.

He was member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Minor Higgins Allen, one son, Richard Allen, Clarksville, one daughter Katheran Williams, Memphis; five grandchildren, 10 great grand great children  and a great-great-grandchild. 

Pallbearers will be Paul Martin, Earl Bigbmy, Jesse Smith. John Giles, Ronnie Williams and Carney Hok, Honorary pallbearers will be the elders of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
