VIRGINIA ANDERSON ALLEN
MARCH 24, 1976

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.
Mrs. Virginia Anderson Allen, 69. died Wednesday night in Baptist Hospital here after a sudden illness. Services will be conducted at Hardage Funeral Home in South Jacksonville Saturday at 12:30 p rn Burial will be in Jacksonville.

Mrs. Allen was born in Montgomery County, daughter of the late Peter and Kitty Ferguson Anderson. Her husband, Charles Allen. preceded her in death. She had lived in Florida.

She worked for the LEAF-CHRONICLE for several years as society editor, then worked for the Federal Reserve Bank when she moved to Florida until she retired. She had lived in Florida about 35 years.

Survivors are a daughter. Mrs. Nancy Grover, Jacksonville. Fla.; a brother, Peter M. Anderson. Chattanooga three grandchildren.

She was a member of the Christian Church.
