DOVER—Annie Myrtle Sills,
65, of Dover, died Monday in St. Thomas Hospital, Nashville, after an extended
illness, She was a housewife.
Services will be 2 p.m.
Wednesday at Anglin Memorial Chapel with Dr. Herbert McFadden officiating.
Burial will be in Fort Donelson National Cemetery, Dover.
She was born July 5, 1915,
in Stewart County, daughter of the late Neal and Mammie Robertson Allen.
She was the widow of James T. Sills.
Survivors are two sons,
Earl Mason Sills, Dover, and James T. Sills Jr., Whiting, Ind., a daughter,
Norma Hendon, Hammond, Ind., six brothers, Boyd Allen and Edward Alien,
both of Dover, Thurman Allen, Chicago, Ill., Robert Allen, Paris, Russell
Allen, McLeansboro, Ill., and Newman Allen, Nashville; two sisters, Leva
Barrett, Dover, and Evelyn Bocek, Omaha, Neb.; nine grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
She was a member of the
First Baptist Church, Dover.
