Deed of Trust from William Good to Henry Odonoly

I, William Good of Montgomery County, and Henry Odonoly, and William Good being desirous to secure the payment of a debt to William Moody of Northampton County of Northampton County, North Carolina in the amount of $237.85, do grant to Henry Odonoly all my right to the negroes belonging to the estate of Benjamin Moody, deceased, to wit, Pegg, Pat, Davey, Harriett, Alexander, Ludy, Mantabout, Isaac and Dick, with all their future increase.  Nevertheless, if William Good shall pay Henry Odonoly the sum of $237.85, then this deed of trust be void.  If he fails to pay the sum before the 22nd day of November next, than Odonoly shall proceed to sell the negroes to the highest bidder, this 2nd day of October 1820.
