HODGES FAMILY NOTEBOOK
This is the unedited research and genealogical collection of Geneva
Suggs Swain donated by her cousin Carroll Ray Ellis.
Mrs. Dora Lee Hodge, died Friday
at 6 p.m. enroute to Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness. She was
a resident of Route1,Woodlawn. Funeral services will be conducted at 2
p.m. today at McReynolds Funeral Home by the Rev. Lamar Smith. Burial will
be in Riverview.
Mrs. Hodge was born in Bluefield,
W. Va., May 19, 1927, daughter of Mrs. Margie Kyle Perkey, Bluefield,
W. Va. and the late Walter P. Perkey. She was a member of the Baptist
Church.
Survivors in addition to her mother
are her husband, Stewart Hodge; a son, Orville Lee Harless, Woodlawn; three
daughters, Mrs. Marla F. Drew, Mobile, Ala.: Mrs. Carla M. Stein, Woodlawn;
Miss Darla Mussbaum, Woodlawn; four brothers, William P. and James R. Perkey,
Baltimore, Md.; Walter Perkey, Covington,, Ky., and Charles R. Perkey.
Ludlow, Ky.; five sisters, Mrs. Ethel M. Godsey, Bluefield, W.Va.; Mrs.Shirley
