ADAMS, POWER, PAINE, CHAMBERS, NORTHINGTON, CARNEY

William G Adams bn Tn 1819, was the first son of George Adams and Fanny Chembers, daughter of John Chambers. George Adams is in the Robertson Co 1830 Census with his wife Fanny and children. They are close to the Montgomery Co, line. My William G. Adams is married in 1840 Robertson Co to Henrietta Power Paine daughter of Thomas Paine and Cynthia Frances Power. Her family is in the part of Montgomery that becomes Cheatham. In 1860 (William having died in 1855,), she takes her surviving children, $600 in tobacco money and moves to or near Port Royal. She dies and is buried in Sango cemetery. Can anyone tell me if the Adams are in Montgomery in 1820 time frame? Or if anyone has been to the Paine, Power Cemetery in Henrietta, Chatham Co or if they have any idea about George Adams and his son William G. (I will be moving to Belgium in May and would love to solve my Adams problem.) Meredith
