FORD,BRADBERRY,O'NEAL
Hi I am researching FORD,BRADBERRY,O'NEAL of Montgomery county my gr gr
grandfather Josiah Henry Ford was born in Montgomery County Jan. 3, 1839.
We have some of his brothers and sisters but understand there were many.
We believe his mother's first name may have been Nancy. Some of the Ford's
that lived in the Port Royal area are of this line. We believe his father
was either James or Henry Ford, or his grandfather was James or Henry anyway
one was one and the other was the other. Hope this did not confuse anyone.
The Fords entermarried quite a bit. The Bradberry's were also in the area.
I have names if anyone needs them. Would like to know if there are any
Fords buried in any of the Cemetery's there are none in the Cemetery's
listed on the Web page. The O'Neal's also married into the Ford line.

from Halifax Co, VA and left TN to move to Trigg Co. KY. We think his father
was Charles Wall of Halifax, VA and his mother Elizabeth Bates m 1762.
I notice that relatives of Henry Wall , also from Halifax VA moved to Montgomery

Henry Wall related? If so I think I can trace my family back to mid 1600's

RIVES
I am looking for the location of the graves of Stephen Turner Rives d.
1840 and his wife Sophia. They were originally interned in a family cemetery
outside of Clarksville TN. I now know it was located on the Fort Campbell
Reserve. However, I do not know if it is still on Ft. Campbell or was relocated.
In 1929 Childs said, “Stephen Rives and his wife were buried on the Tillottson
plantation, about fifteen miles from Clarksville, Tennessee, near Old Providence,
the property now being known as ‘Carneal.’” A recent source said they might
have been moved to the Rogers cemetery. A memorial that stands in the Rosedale
Cemetery, Pembroke KY is “In memory of the members of the Rives Family
originally interred in the family cemetery on Fort Campbell Reservation.”
It lists the names of several Rives including Stephen's eldest son Henry
Archer Rives d. 1892, but does not list Stephen or Sophia. Can anyone help
me locate these graves?

KYLE
I am trying to find any information on Neal KYLE 1802-1863, who resided
in Montgomery Co from 1810-1845. He was the son on Daniel KYLE,1763-1839,
who died in Montgomery Co. Daniel moved to Montgomery Co from Cumberland
Co., NC about 1810. He was a widower with three small boys, John, Robert
and Neal. I have never been able to find a marriage for Neal or his brothers.
Since they were living in the county, I feel certain that Neal would have
married here about 1826-7. ANY help is appreciated.

ANDERSON,APPERSON,SENSNEY
Does anyone know about the A.M.(Archibald McCochran)ANDERSON's marriage
to a Virginia APPERSON about Feb.1838 and his marriage to a Amelia L'Anise
SENSNEYin late 1840? Did the first marriage end in desertion, divorce, or
her death? I find a Virginia Apperson being killed in Virginia in a Civil
War Battle-- in a census of 1820 for Lawrence Co., the record shows Archibald
ANDERSON with a number of dependents there. Were there two Archibald ANDERSONS??
The one I am concerned about was a harness maker near Clarksville, Montgomery
Co., TN--7 miles southeast of Clarksville as he is my gg grandfather and
maybe his father was A.M.ANDERSON also instead of Timothy or Johnathan
or Elijah. We are of Dutch descent and will gladly share what I know.

HARVEY
I am looking for information on a William Harvey of Montgomery County Tennessee.
A William Harvey is listed in the 1850 Census of Montgomery County Tennessee
as age 49, along with the following members of his family. Sarah Age 47,
Blount Age 20, Rebecca Age 18, Julia Ann Age 12, Mary A. Age 10, Sarah
Age 8, Both parents were born in Tennessee. Sarah Harvey is listed as the
head of her household in the 1860 Census. The following is from the 1860
Census of Montgomery County TN. Sarah Age 55, Blunt Age 29, Julia Age 25,
Mary Age 23, Sarah Age 22. I believe that William Harvey must have died
before the 1860 census was taken I believe that this William Harvey is
from Monroe and Blount County Tennessee (hence the name of his son Blount,
or Blunt. The census taker must have relied on the phonetic spelling of
the name, because Blount is pronounced blunt). In 1829 there was a William
Harvey who lived on the Tennessee River in Blount County TN. Any information
on this family would be appreciated. Matthew M. Webb

BRYAN/BRYANT, MARLOW
Looking for my ggg grandmother Elizabeth. We are unsure of her maiden name
spelling. Father may have been William OR Robert BRYANT. Mother may have
been a CALHOUN. Elizabeth was born around 1816, and married Wilson Williamson
Marlow around 1834-36. They had four children: Achsa born in Montgomery(1836),
James Robert (1838), Pleasant (1841) and the birth of her last child. I
am a descendent of Bethel. Bethel is a strange name. I once saw a William
Bethel MARLOW and wondered if my gg grandfather was named after a this
person.
We believe that she and Wilson lived in Tennesse when first married and
then moved to St. Claire Missouri. She died somewhere in Missouri, near
St. Claire I would think. Does anyone have information on this family.
