ADAMS, CHAMBERS, HEFLIN, JERNAGEN

The March 24 , 1842 Will of John P. CHAMBERS (Robertson Co) says that his daughter Fanny is deceased and was the wife of George Adams. There are 7 other children married to Jernigans, and Henleys. Benjamen Jernagen, Clement Chambers, George Adams, and W. Phillips are all mentioned in the inventory, as is Willie Heflin who is married to Emily ADAMS daughter of Fanny and George ADAMS. I believe that my William G. Adams is the son of Fanny and George Adams. (Eliz. Conley Adams is the 2nd wife listed in 1850.) These people seem to be on a line from Port Royal to Springfield. Henrietta Power Paine ADAMS, widow (1855) of William G. Adams (1819-1855) moves closer to Port Royal after the civil war with her children. Cemeteries for the CHAMBERS, JERNAGAN, ADAMS, AND HEFLIN FAMILIES. Especialy that of John P. CHAMBERS(1843) and his (bef 1842) wife. Thank you. Meredith
