I'm trying to locate any information, (marriage,birth,death,maiden
name,etc...) on: Thomas SWIFT, (wife) Mary SWIFT. They had a
daughter Mrytle Mae SWIFT. Known to of lived in Montgomery co. in
Hackberry,Tn. area, Dickson co. in Slayden and or Charlotte, Tn.area,
Stewart co. in Dover,Tn.area all in the time of 1800's to 1900's.
I have some information on Mrytle Swift (maiden), hoping to find
out more about my grgranparents - Thomas and mary SWIFT. Also ANY
information on Jesse BRUCE, married Mrytle Swift. Unknown of where
marriage took place, where he's from, why the two ended up in
Struttgart, Arkansas to where they had one child, effie jean BRUCE on
Feb-21-1930. Any help would greatly be appreciated!! Thank You,

I'm sorry to make such a broad query, but I'd appreciate hearing from
anyone with Tubb or Tubbs information as it relates to Montgomery Co.
One name in particular, I'm seeking information on is Acquilla who
is said to have died in Montgomery County in 1818.
Your help is appreciated -- I hope to take photos of any existing
gravemarkers during an upcoming visit.

About 1800, five HUNTER brothers or cousins moved from Richland
County, South Carolina, to Montgomery, Robertson, and Davidson
County, Tennessee.
They were:
1) Dempsey HUNTER (m. ?, Katherine FAUST), b. abt. 1745, d. 1833
Montgomery County, Tennessee,
2) Jacob HUNTER (m. Mary/Polly), b. 1755, d. 1806 Davidson County,
Tennessee,
3) Thomas HUNTER (m. Katherine?), b. 1763 Halifax Co., NC, d. 1734,
Robertson County, Tennessee,
4) Allan HUNTER (m. Elizabeth FAUST) b. abt. 1764, d. 1820,
Montgomery County, Tennessee, and
5) David HUNTER (m. Sarah HORN, 1803), b. 1775 d. 1861, Davidson
County.

Trying to locate a RUTH CRUTCHER D'AMATA, the daughter of Mrs. IDA
DAVIS. Ruth lived in Clarksville in the mid 1940's, married Sgt
FRANK D'AMATA of Jamaica, NY, approximately late 1947. They left for
Germany in early 1948. Estimated DOB 1925-26.

I am searching for the parents on John M DONNEL, b abt 1801 TN. He
married Elizabeth JERNIGAN abt 1819 and moved to IL abt 1827.
In the 1797 Montgomery Co, TN tax list I see a George DONNEL. If

George G PINSON was born 1845 in Montgomery Co., TN according to his
Civil War papers. He was in Texas by early 1860s. He named his
only son William Crockett PINSON. I need to know who the parents of
George G PINSON were and if there is any connection to the William
Crockett PINSON who is listed on the 1840 Montgomery Co., Tn Census.

The Goodspeed History of Montgomery County lists a J. M. STRATOR as
Elder of the Christian Church there. Can someone tell me what date
this would be. Also, does anyone know anything about this J. M.
STRATOR. I am researching a STRAITOR/STRATOR family in Sumner Co.

JONES: Searching for ancestors and other relatives of David Jones.
Relatives believe he was from Montgomery Co/Clarksville area. He
moved to Christian Co. Ky somtime before 1911. He met Della Jean Cato
in 1911 and they went to Clarksville, TN to get married. They had 4
children before he died in 1916. His birthday is unknown at this
time, but he was about 36 yrs old when he died. He is buried in Hamby
Cemetery in Christian Co. KY. I would like to hear from anyone who
thinks they may have a connection.

Researching gggrandmother, Frances KEMP (maiden name ORR), married to
Thomas KEMP, was on the 1840 census in Montgomery County. Died before
1846 in Clarksville, possibly of cholera. Need date of death and
place of burial. Any information on her or her husband would be
greatly appreciated. The ORR family lived in Logan County, Kentucky
but she is reputed to have died in Clarksville, Tennessee.

COLLINS, William ca 1780 S.C. (Abbeville ?) was in the 1820, 1830 and
1840 census in Stewart Co., Tn. There also were a lot of ?Collins in

I am searching for the parents of RICHARD CAMPBELL born 1822-1824 in
middle Tennessee, county unknown. Since Montgomery County is located
