JOHN BELL EDLIN

 John Bell Edlin (born 5 July 1844; died 17 August 1913) served in the 49th Infantry TN Company "A" of the Confederate States of America during the Civil War.  He applied for and received a veteran's pension.  His pension number is S4378.  He is reported as being a private and wounded at Kennesaw Mountain.  He is buried in the Powers Cemetery in Palmyra, TN.
