Joseph M. WALKER was born about 1850.  He died about 1918.  He was buried in Petros, Morgan County, TN.
INFO FROM A DESCENDANT:  Joseph and Arminda once lived at Isolene, Cumberland County, TN and grandpa Walker used to light the oil lamps on the streets at night.  After Isolene, they moved to Petros, or Oakdale, cause I remember grandpa was a Guard at the prison there (Brushy Mountain Prison at Petros).

WALKER, Joseph M., 68, 1918, Morgan, #443
He was married to Arminda Catherine (or Katherine) HUGHES on October 11, 1868 in Hamilton County, TN.  Arminda Catherine (or Katherine) HUGHES was born about 1843.  She died about 1932.  She was buried in Petros, Morgan County, TN.
NOTE: Her name could have been spelled:  Armidda, or Armenda, Catherine or Katherine, Amanda or Arminda???   A granddaughter is named after her and her name is:  Mattie Lucinda Arminda Katherine Austin.
NOTE:  This information is from Edith AUSTIN Rice:  Ike or Polk Tucker was a Ticket Agent at Petros, TN. At a train Depot there.  Edith Austin and Laura WALKER Austin took a train from Mayland, TN to Petros, TN.  Luke Austin (Laura's son) sent money so she (Laura) could make the trip to Jenkins, KY where Arminda Walker and Mattie Tucker were living.....this was about 1923 and this must have been AFTER Joseph died, that's why Arminda was there with Mattie in Jenkins, KY.  Arminda Walker was buried at Petros, Morgan County, TN - but not sure if she was buried with her husband Joseph Walker or not.  Not sure if Joseph was buried at Petros or not.
Joseph M. WALKER and Arminda Catherine (or Katherine) HUGHES had the following children:
 +23 i. Emma WALKER.
 +24 ii. Mattie WALKER.
+25 iii. Laura Cena Ann WALKER (born on December 4, 1880)...MY GRANDMOTHER.
WALKER and a TUCKER connection
FATHER: Jasper Tucker
Mother:     Mattie Walker
1.    Ike Tucker
2.    Polk Tucker
3.    Grady Tucker
4.    Edith Tucker
5.    Alton Tucker
Do you have "anything" on any of these?
NOTE:  This information from Edith AUSTIN Rice:
Mattie WALKER Tucker lived and was buried in Jenkins, KY.  She lived there all her life and ran a Boarding House there.  Edith and her mother, (Laura WALKER Austin), went to Jenkins, KY, when Edith was about 6 years old.  This would have been around 1923, cause Joseph Walker had already died and Joseph's wife, Arminda HUGHES Walker, was staying with their daughter, Mattie WALKER Tucker, in Jenkins, KY.
