"FIRST CAR IN MORGAN COUNTY WEST OF THE RAILROAD" "That is what Ray Goad of Wartburg said about this Model T Ford which he said was a 1915 Model.  Mr. Goad is at the wheel and on his right is the late A.L. Adams.  In the rear seat is Charlie Phillips (large hat) and Martin Gordon.  The car belonged to Ray's father, Mr. M.M. Goad, who at that time lived in Deer Lodge.  The Weidemann Hotel is in the Background." From the Morgan County News dated, January 22, 1962

OLD BANK BUILDING IN WARTBURG Originally the home of the Citizens Bank and Trust Company. Possibly taken about 1912.  This building is now a part of the Tanner Drug Store and Restaurant Building. Boys sitting in street not known. From the Morgan County News August 23, 1962

LAST DAY AS RAILWAY PASSENGER STATION "Friday, December 30, 1961 was the last day for the Railway Agency at Oakdale.  Passengers may still board trains at Oakdale paying their fare to the conductors.  The Station at Emory Gap will handle all freight for Oakdale and also sell tickets.  Agent C.B. Hoff, on duty Friday, thought the building would not be dismantled now since some of the Yard Office People were utilizing it for office space."  From the Morgan County News, dated January 4, 1962
