Sallie Dickson Ward Obituary

Funeral services for Mrs. Sallie Dickson Ward, 99 ,were held at the Sutton Methodist Church on Marsh Creek Monday. Burial was in the Sutton Cemetery. Mrs. Ward died Sunday folling a long illness. A daughter of the late Mattie and Leonard Mays Dickson. Her Husband ,Reubin Houston Ward , was a Methodist minister ,he died 55 years ago. She made her home with her daughter ,Mrs. H.T evans in Covington. Had she lived until Nov. 27,1960 she would have been 100 years of age. Surviviors are another daughter Mrs. Ethal Pollock, Wayne,Mich., three sons, Thomas Ward,Lowery Ward, of Perry County, and Grady Ward of Detroit Mich.,She had grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was a life long devoted member to her church. Mrs. Sallie Harriet Ward died Aug.21,1960 .
