Perry County, Tennessee

Tax Records

Land was often the single most valuable item that a person would own.  It was also a way that the state or government would raise money.  If you have any tax records that you would like to submit for Perry County, please contact Jan Monnin, your Perry County TnGenWeb coordinator.

  • The Tennessee State Library and Archives has copies of the Perry County tax records from roughly 1873-1905 (some missing) and also 1936 to present.  Early records before 1873 include 1837 and 1861.
