I am looking for

parents.David RUTLEDGE (circa 1790 NC - 1844 TN) married Angeline
WILLIAMSON(b.1799VA) In Rutherford Co. TN on July 4, 1816. They were
parents of15 children. The 13 known children were Colemon, Monroe,
Ann, Susan,James, Nancy, David N., Beverly, Benjamin, Robert M.,
Samuel,Elizabeth and Martha all born between 1818 & 1840. It is not
knownwhether David died in Rutherford or Gibson Co. but Angeline
waslisted on the 1849 tax list in Gibson Co. She owned 45 acres
inDistrict 13. The 1850 census shows the boys working as laborers
onnearby farms. I believe some of these neighbors including
CatherinePrice and Anne Patton might have been sisters of Angeline. A
brother,Beverly WILLIAMSON also settled in Gibson Co. He and wife
Mary werestill there in 1870.The first four children were probably
married in Rutherford Co.Coleman stayed in TN and later moved to

ancestors that are Cherokee. The names that apperar in our family
repeatedly are: BROWN, LOVE, GRANT, OLIVER, PROCTOR, James, William,
Richard, Thomas, Arthur, Frank and Robert.Relatives may be in
Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Texas, and/or others. I
