Ann CARVER, whom I believe to have been Cherokee, is my great, greatgrandmother. She is in the Carroll Co.,TN census for 1850. She wasa widow in that census, born in KY about 1798, married in KY by 1820,came to TN by 1825 or 26. She is probably the widow of James Carverwho died January, 1850 in same county, born SC about 1796. Theirdaughter, my great grandmother, was Julia Ann Carver who married JohnLafayette Watson. I know Julia was half Indian and I believe it wasCherokee. Was Ann full blood? Or was James the Indian ancestor? orboth? Thanks for your help.
