William was a watch maker and owned ajewelry store in Bristol in 1884 and was living there at the time ofthe 1900 Sullivan Co., TN Census. Adeline Lenora JAMES came over the Trail of Tears with her 1st husb,last name of COKER. She married Dr. Hiram MITCHELL when he was on hisway to Missouri from Tennessee. they met in Izard Co. Arkansas. Herdau Mary Adeline COKER was born Jan 25, 1864 in Marion Co. Arkansas.They moved to the Boatman-Pryor Area in 1878 so they could settle onIndian Land granted to them by the Dawes Commission according to theCherokee Trial Rolls which the Commission prepared. Mary AdelineCOKER married Charley BROWN in Salina Indian Territory. Charley wasborn in the Pryor area, Indian Territory, and was of Cherokee IndianAncestry. Calvin MITCHELL married Maud FOREMAN, dau of Joe and RachelFOREMAN. Joe was Cherokee Indian Ancestry and Rachel was fromScotland or Ireland. The FOREMAN's came from the Choctaw Nation in1888. Maud had an Indian Allotment near Locust Grove which the familygrew up on... Any more info on this line of the family would begreatly appreciated.
