CRABTREE, WEAVER

I am researching my WEAVER line. Samuel WEAVER born 1797 was myggggrandfather and it was listed in his estate as leaving $ toVincent Carrico and William McKay. Iwould be interested in hearing from anyone with any ideas about thisor any information about the children of David and Fanny. I know thatSamuel was born in TN and was married and had 6 children that I knowof in TN but do not know his first wife's name.He ended up in BentonCo., MO and is buried at the LP Union Cemetary in the same county. Ialso am researching my CRABTREE line and have found that mygggrandfather Peter Patterson's father was LD CRABTREE who wasmarried to Winney Medling. I believe LD's parents were Joseph andRebecca CRABTREE. Any help there?

WALLACE

My great-grandmother was Emma Bell Wallace. She was part Cherokee. She is thought to have been born 1860 to 1880. Thought is that sheand her husband, M.N. Mullins lived in Ramer, Tenn. It is said thatEmma had a "ruddy" complexion due to her Native American roots. Shedied in 1950 from a stroke. Most likely she died in Tenn. She had abrother named Butch (probably just a nickname). Not a lot to go on. But there is always a chance that a connection some where, sometimecan be made. Thank you.

RAINS

I am seeking information on Henry RAINS,1767-1838 who lived inHawkins County, TN, in 1788, when he served in the Hawkins CountyVolunteer Militia. He was the son of John RAINS, 1742-1772, and MaryINGRAM, of NC, and the stepson of Captain Thomas LEE, who marriedMary INGRAM RAINS in 1773, after her husband died. Henry RAINS hadseveral half-brothers and sisters named LEE and BAILY. I think HenryRAINS married Patsy LANE, of TN, and moved to the Powell Valley Area, and then Knox County, KY, about 1792.
