I am looking for any information on Finis Ewing TURNER. His firstname may be spelled Phineas. He was born in Tennessee on January 4,1823. He married Mary J. Houchins in Big Springs, Shelby, Illinoison 02/10/1856. I am not sure what county he was born in but suspectBedford or Maury. Zachariah or Zachary WHITE was born in NC circa 1785. He marriedSarah ? born circa 1787,NC. They left NC and settled in TN circa1805-1825. While there a son named Joseph R. was born circa 1823,another son named Zachariah R. born 1829, and possibly one namedBenjamin born ??. He may have been born in NC, as he was 41 on the1850 census Hempstead Co,AR. The older Zachariah died in TN before1841 when the wife Sarah and the rest of her family left and settledin Hempstead Co,AR. Searching for the date and location of the deathof Zachariah WHITE in TN, also the location of birth of Joseph R.,Zachariah R. or Benjamin WHITE.
