GREENHAW. There is an 1822 map of TN in a book: Index to Early TNTax Lists. It includes as part of TN all land lying between thecurrent southern boundry of TN and the TN River as it winds down intothen up out of present-day AL. Many Greenhaw's lived in that area. I have reason to believe one of mine was from there, but acording tocensus records and family tradition, he was born in TN in 1801, notAL. I haven't been able to find early documents about him anywhereyet, but I'll persevere in this area only if I find the TN boundarydipped down to the TN River at that time. Any map experts for thisperiod out there?
