HENDERSON COUNTY, 18 AND 20 CIVIL
DISTRICTS, 1850-1900

          Districts 19 and 20 were formed before 1860. Census observers indicate District 19 was in the Juno area, District 20 in the Chesterfield area, and District 10 in the Lexington area. How the locations of the other districts were affected is unknown. In 1879 the County lost most of the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 12th Districts to Chester Co. and presumably there was a major realignment of the 20 districts for the years 1880 through 1900.
