This photo of a soldier was found
after my grandmothers death. He maybe a Trammell, Duncan, Wilson, or
Chitwood. On the back it says, "Bettie Wilson Give my best of all
Earl". Any ideas?

ARTIMESIA ANDERSON (1851-1937) of Wayne Co, KY. Son of AARON SEXTON of
Scott Co, TN. I think the back row from l - r is: Martha, Leo, John and
SHERMAN (my GF). I am not certain about the three on the left in the front
row.

Aug. 16th, 1902. Misses Re. [Rebecca?] Sanborn & Ruth Harvey."
Neither family appears in indexes for the Sanderson or the Smith books on
Scott Co. Perhaps they were local, or maybe they were visiting the Keen
family from nearby or far away. Nice early 20th Century photo. It would be
interesting to know about these ladies AND the part of the New River Lbr
Co.'s log boom (shown empty here) on the river where they are amusing
themselves. The Log Boom was built where Brimstone Creek empties into New
