I am looking for information on WILLIAM RILEY HATFIELD who was married to
ELIZABETH BURK or BURKE. Her parents were JONATHAN BURK and NANCY COOPER. They
had several children. HARMON LAFAYETTE is my great grandfather and I would like
more information. I know that they were suppose to be married in 1849 in Wayne,
KY. They were suppose to reside in Station Camp, TN. If you have any further
information please contact me.

I am trying to locate anyone that has any knowledge of my families. My
Grandfather was RILEY WELCH m. VIOLENA or VIOLENY NEWPORT. My Grandfather passed
away about 1913 In Scott County. My grandmother remarried to a man by the name
of FRANK BUTLER who was at one time a sheriff of Scott County. If any one has

Looking for info on GEORGE WASHINGTON STRINGFIELD. He was born 20 Mar 1849 and
married JANE SHOEMAKER on 7 Nov 1871 in Scott Co., TN. They had three sons,
LUTHER, HENRY, and BENNETT. JANE died and GEORGE remarried to an Indian, MARY
JANE DUNN (1864-1931). They lived in Richardsville, Warren, KY, but moved to
Tennessee Ridge, TN, around 1900. They had 5 children: MATTIE NASH, RETTA
GAMBIL, ROXA DUNN, NELLIE BAGGETT WEAVER, and ROY. GEORGE died 14 May 1919 in
Tennessee Ridge, TN, after being shot by a neighbor in some sort of land
dispute. I don't know where he was born or who his parents were.

Looking for information on HULDA McDONALD b. 1 Apr 1858 in Huntsville, Scott
County, TN and married JEFFERSON DAVIS FARLEY in Bell County, TX in 1878 and
died in El Dorado, OK 21 May 1929. Would like to know her parents and if she was
Native American.

I am interested in contacting the children of CALVERT and AMY ELLIS, both
deceased. They lived in Onieda at the time of their deaths. I believe at least

ANDREW ADKINS,b. 8 Feb 1857 died before 1894.(Probably in 1892 and he is
probably buried in Cut Cemetery, Helenwood, Scott County, Tennessee). He married
ELIZA JANE PARTIN 18 Jan 1879. He was the Sheriff of Helenwood, Scott, Tennessee
for a while and was killed in the line of duty while breaking up a drunken group
disturbing the peace on a Sunday morning; (This information according to
"Dusty Bits of the Forgotton Past" by H. Clay Smith.) He had daughters
NETTIE, FLORA and EVA who are listed in the 1880 census and he had a brother
named LACY who married EMILY KEETON and a brother named DAVID (or possibly JOHN
DAVID). His parents were LEMUEL ADKINS (correct name uncertain) and SARAH
SHOOPMAN. Any information concerning this family will be much appreciated, and I
am willing to exchange Adkins information with anyone.

Looking for info on my gr-grandmother and gr-grandfather. WILLIAM and ELIZABETH
GRIFFITH who had one daughter (KATHERINE GRIFFITH--Tootsie). Daughter lived in
Morgan County and was born in 1909. So William and Elizabeth must have been born
in the 1800's, probably around 1880s. I don't know ELIZABETH's maiden name but
would love to. Help!

What relationship is JOEL LEWALLEN (bc 1800)who married RACHEL TAYLOR (b 29 Apr
1799)of Ashe County, NC to JOHN LEWALLEN and ANDREW LEWALLEN? I was told his
parents were ANDERSON and LUCY (RICE)LEWALLEN and children were WALTER D. m ANNA

My mother always claimed there was Cherokee blood in our lineage, as of yet I
have not found it. However, she has one picture of her mother,who died in 1932
after giving birth to my mother. She looked very much indian! So does some of
her sisters and brothers.Her mother was born in Scott Co. Originally born a
GOODMAN. Her mother was born a LOWE(SALLEY ANN) sometime around 1872. BEDIE
GOODMAN was born in 1895. She died in Rossville,Ga. Any clues would be
