Looking for information on LAWRENCE V. DAUGHERTY born 10/24 in Bear Creek, son of WILLIAM J. DAUGHERTY and MARY JANE WEST. Brothers were DAVID CULTURE, EVERETTE, and BLAINE DAUGHERTY. Sisters were ELLA MAE DAUGHERTY (YORK), GLADYS DAUGHERTY (UNKNOWN, WATTERS, MCENDREE), and IRENE DAUGHERTY (SMITH). My great-grandfather WILLIAM DAUGHERTY apparently outlived three wives, the second and third of whom may have been younger than his youngest child of the first marriage. My line is from his union with the first wife. Also please let me know if you have any information about ETHER E. COOK and wife ANNAS CHILDRESS. He worked at the Gennett Lumber Company Mill in east Scott County when my mother ELDENE COOK was born 8/9/26. Other children of this marriage were AILEN COOK WHALEN SAUNDERS, and IRENE COOK MOORE.

They divorced and had only one child a daughter SUE BENNIE GIBSON. Wish to find death date and where he is buried. He had a sister, NELLIE GIBSON MYERS who lived possibly Rockwood, TN.

CHAMBERS - Looking for my Cherokee roots. Any info would be helpful. The info I have is a great great grandfather named JOHN U. CHAMBERS b- 03/23/1872 d-10/11/11 married to MARTHA ARLEEN SEXTON b-1870 d-02/23/03 children were SELFI, ARAZONIA (married PHILLIPS), MARY (married JEFFERS), and TEMA (married NEWBERRY). JOHN CHAMBERS supposedly had 2 sons from a previous marriage named DAVID and HENRY. They were from around the Oneida and Huntsville area.
