His wife's name was PHERIBA. He will was probated 1
Dec. 1879 in Scott County. His brothers were E.S. LLOYD,
JOHNTHAN LLOYD, and sisters were NANCY
LLOYD BROWN and ELIZABETH JANE LLOYD CHAMBERS.
He had a half brother- ELIHU CHAMBERS and a half
sister. His step father was EWEL CHAMBERS.

In the 1790's or early 1800's, my ancestor, THOMAS
CHAMBERS and his wife KATIE LAWSON, brought
up to 20 slaves from NC to what is now Scott Co., TN to clear land. Many who
died are buried in the family cemetery near Buffalo Creek in Scott Co. Their
graves are unmarked, yet clearly evident. I would like to recognize these people
by restoring names and dates if available. Several members of my family are
researching the CHAMBERS of Scott Co. They need to
remember all who helped the family prosper in the wilderness.

Desperately seeking info on THOMAS BEGLEY, born
circa 1825, appears on 1850 Census in Knox County, Kentucky, with wife AMA
(Anna?), 3 children (JAMES D., WILLIAM M., JOHN)
family drops off the face of the earth at this point, then reappears in 1880's
in Kentucky with no mention of THOMAS or AMA
(Anna?)...ANNA's maiden name was HOSKINS...There
is a possibility that THOMAS was living in Scott
County during or after the Civil War...there is even a reference to a THOMAS
BEGLEY in the Civil War research section on the Scott Co website...any
information would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to locate where a NANCY ALEXANDER SEXTON
died. She was the first wife of AARON SEXTON, who
divorced her around 1883 & married a MARY JANE YORK.
Have found a NANCY SEXTON with a date of death in
Scott Co. April 23 1912. TN Vital Records states no record of that person found,
so I have conflicting information. Can anyone help me?
