An ancestor named JOSEPH HATFIELD lived in Scott
Co., Tenn. before his son GEORGE HATFIELD moved on
to Georgia. I would like to know some history about this family in Tennessee and
see if a BENJAMEN HATFIELD; son of GEORGE
HATFIELD, is buried in Scott county. BENJAMEN
had a wife by the name of MARHTA EVERETT, and I
would like to know if she is buried there also. I would like to know if there is
a historian that I could communicate with about the HATFIELDS,
and I would like his/her phone number or address if avaiable.

Looking for parents, sibs, children of ELISHA NICHOLAS;
would be wonderful to find info on ELISHA's wife PHOEBE
but I don't know her surname. Their daughter, JANE
NICHOLAS married HUGH CHITWOOD bef 1835. By
1859 JANE and HUGH
were in Reynolds County, MO. I think ELISHA and PHOEBE
may have gone with them as they are mentioned in: "A History of the pioneer
families of Missouri" by Will. S. Bryan et al. St. Louis, MO 1876. ELISHA
is mentioned in the AGBI as being born in VA in 178?. Be glad to exchange info.
