WILLIAM SMITH married KESIAH SMITH or BROWN in Scott County in November , 1891
by Rev, G.W. CECIL. The certificate has a number 336 in the upper left hand
corner. The certificate also shows that William was bound unto the State of
Tennessee for $1,250.00 which I suppose was quaranted by JOHN A. SLEVIN. Any
help will be appreciated.

LOUSIA HICKS m. to ANDREW COX BAIRD in 1864. Any information on their children.
Louisa died and Andy married MARTHA C. MILLER in 1884. They moved to s.w. Mo.
with a number of children form both marriages.

Looking for descendants of CLYDE and LOLA PYLE BLEVINS. CLYDE and LOLA lived
Winfield Scott Co TN in November 1931. LOLA PYLE BLEVINS was born 1877 Fentress
Co TN daughter of "Poplar" JIM and MARGARET EVANS PYLE. CLYDE and LOLA
BLEVINS had to known children MILEY and DELTA.

Hi, Does anyone know if there were cemetery records for Scott Co. for the period
of 1875? My Great Grandfather NICHOLAS STEIN is in an unmarked grave in the
cemetery behind the post office in Robins Tn. and would like to know which grave
he is in so we can get him a head stone. Any help at all would be appreciated.

My grandfather WILLIAM ISOM BOWLING was born 20 Jan 1865 in or near Scott county
perhaps Campbell county. Interested in hearing from anyone who has a connection

I`m hopeing that someone may be able to help me. I am researching my Great
Grandmother. Her name was MARY J. BYRD/BIRD. On my grandmothers marriage
liscense it has her mothers name along with a PERRY BYRD and DANIEL BYRD. This
was in 1905. Does anyone have any family members that could have been adult at
that time? Greatly appreciate any information.

There are at least two SLAVEN cemeteries within the boundaries of the Big South
Fork NRRA, the WILLIAM SLAVEN Cemetery off Stooping Oak Road and the
SLAVEN-SLAVIN Cemetery off Station Camp Road. The former only has one marked
grave out of 16, that of ELIGE SLAVEN, and the latter has two marked graves out
of 5, RICHARD SLAVIN's and LITHA SLAVEN's. Does anyone have information as to
who is buried in the unmarked graves of these two cemeteries? Any information
would be greatly appreciated.

Seeking information on FRANK and INA PARNELL. I know they had two sons GUY
PARNELL and GEORGE PARNELL. They worked in or owned a sawmill. INA is buried in
Oliver Springs. If anyone knows her maiden name or where in Oliver Springs she
was buried please let me know. Also if GUY was a nickname or the given name.
What happened to FRANK and GUY ? Did they leave Tennessee? Thanks in advance.

I am seeking info. on the PARKER's of Helenwood. JOHN PARKER, BD 1806, father of
Oliver, BD 1830, father of BALAAM, BD 1856. BALAAM (my grt grandfaher) left
Helenwood in 1877 and relocated in Brownsville KY,where he taught school,
married MARGARET MEREDITH and had six children with her before he died at age 37
from complications of tuberculosis. Any info. you can provide on John, Oliver,
their spouses, children, line of work and deaths, etc. will be greatly
appreciated.

I am looking for any info on my grandmother's family. She died in 1931, when my
mother was 1 and we have almost no info except names. Her name was FLORA BELL
McCARTY BROWN and lived in Newport, KY at time of death. She had 2 brothers
(CHARLIE JOHN & FLOYD),2 sisters(PEARL & KATHLEEN). I found a PEARL
McCARTY listed in SSDI and the age was 3 years younger than my grandmother would
have been. It listed Robbins, Scott Co,TN as residence. Their parents' were
CHARLES McCARTY and MARY EVANS. The parents supposedly died in Anderson Co. and
Pearl, Floyd & Kathleen were put in a Methodist childrens home. Any info
greatly appreciated.

Any info. on these brothers CARLOS, ALFRED, CORDELL and ELDRIDGE ZACHARY will be
appreciated. They were probably born between 1890-1900 in Fentress or Overton
counties, TN. but lived in Scott Co. TN. as children and young adults. Their
parents are PLEASANT JASPER ZACHARY b. Sept. 9, 1868, TN. and d. Dec. 29, 1919
in Scott Co. TN. and SUSAN ETTA JANE FLOWERS b. Oct. 11, 1877 and d. July 5,
1915 in Scott Co. TN. They are buried in the Robbins Cemetery, Scott Co. TN. I
think CORDELL ZACHARY went to New Mexico as a young man and lived there until he
died. Any information on this ZACHARY family will be greatly appreciated.
