Stewart Countians Killed in Action, Died of Disease or Wounds

Note: Information is taken from "Soldiers of the Great War", Vol. III; compiled by W. M. Haulsee, F. G. Howe and A. C. Doyle; Soldiers Record Publishing Asso.; Washington, D. C.; c1920. The records in this book do not entirely match those from local records. K.A.=Killed in Action; D.D.=Died of Disease; D.W.=Died of Wounds. This three volume set was found in the estate of Thomas M. Dennis, brother of Sgt. Judson W. Dennis, and eventually, at the death of my father Thomas Henry Judson Dennis, came to me. It contains photos of the soldiers and nurses who lost their lives in this war, but does not seem to be complete. I have not yet located another set. Would be interested to hear from anyone who also is familiar with it.-Jan
