- Cemetery Survey Team of Northeast Tennessee has began a total survey of the Gunnings Cemetery, Sullivan County Tennessee. To date the Old Gunnings Cemetery has been survey with a finding of 828 graves. This included an effort to identify all unmarked graves and fieldstone markers. Anyone having information (pictures, oral histories, other documents, or can help in the identification of unmarked graves) who wish to contribute to the survey is requested to contact The Cemetery Survey Team of Northeast Tennessee through Robert Steadman who is representing the Gunning Cemetery for this survey effort.
