Background:Stophel Cemetery In Front of the Dam
Taken by S. Kathryn Bowling McKown

Located on a hill at the end of Bare Hollow Road in the Bluff City area of Sullivan County. The cemetery is fenced, but very overgrown. It is possible that there are more markers that we were not able to find.

Transcribed and photographed on May 4, 2004 by Donna Briggs and Bob Shell. Part of the Cemetery Survey Team of Northeast Tennessee.
