SNODGRASS CEMETERY. Located approximately 2 miles south of Bristol on TN Highway 126 on the right rear of a private residence which is surrounded by evergreen trees and situated just prior to an intersection of 126 with Cardon Hollow Rd. Inscriptions taken by Robert Elsea 1987 and Jane Gottschall 1993. At the entrance to the cemetery are a couple of unidentifiable, very old stones, next to Sarah G. Barker. Sarah's maiden name was Lyon, and it is my belief that the stones are for her father Jacob Lyon, and his wife Ann Snodgrass Lyon, they once owned the land where the cemetery is located. They have been added to the listings. Jane Gottschall
