Ice Box Cookies
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
3/4 cup shortening or butter
3 eggs
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup walnuts
2 tsp. vanilla
4 1/2 cups flour
Knead well. Roll up in waxed paper. Let stand overnight. Slice thin and bake in ungreased baking tin.
