Coconut Squares
1 1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 cup milk
1 tbsp. butter
pinch salt
Heat butter and milk and add to mixture last.
5 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. evaporated milk
1/2 cup coconut
Spread on cake while hot. Put in oven or broiler to brown. Cut into squares when cool.
