Ginger Snap Cookies

(Mrs. A. Gordon)

1 cup molasses

1 tbsp. baking soda

1 cup sugar

1 egg

1 tbsp. ginger

1 tbsp. vinegar

Flour enough to roll thin.

Bring molasses to scald. Stir in soda and while still foaming, pour over sugar, egg and ginger. Beat thoroughly and add vinegar.
