The Ungraceful Grace

Every family has one - the family “wag.” These good hearted comedians often added an irreverent second stanza to a rather reverent Grace. After “Amen” and a brief caesura, the little second stanza would be offered. Now Grace was really complete. Pass the turkey, please.

 
Over the teeth
And through the gums
Watch out stomach,
Here it comes!
