Mock Angel Food Cake1 cup milk 1 1/2 cup flour 1 cup sugar 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder sprinkle salt 2 egg whites vanilla Scald milk in double boiler. Sift flour once, measure, then sift flour with sugar, baking powder and salt. Add hot milk slowly. Stir until smooth. Add vanilla. Carefully fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. The batter is very thin. Bake in ungreased angel food pan for 45 minutes.
