from the public in identifying the lady and the gentleman.
The picture of the lady by herself was copied from a tin-type photo. The picture of the couple with the accordion was copied from a photograph that was on glass. The glass photo probably dates the picture as being made between 1851 and 1865. These two pictures were given to me by Paul Sparkman of Van Buren County. They came from the collection of the late Ed & Ethel Plumlee of Sparkman Community.
