SULLIVAN, Annie Glenn  (circa 1927-1986)

Annie Sullivan
          Dibrell resident Mrs. Annie Louise Sullivan, 59, died of an extended illness in McMinnville Health Care Center at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.  She was retired after 26 years as a cook at Centertown School.  She was a member of West Side Baptist Church.  Survivors include a daughter and two sons, Virginia Lance of McMinnville, James L. Sullivan, Jr. of Carthage, John L. Sullivan of Alabama and stepdaughter Lucille Nichols of Morrison.  She is also survived by two sisters and two brothers.  Thelma Thompson and Linda Bruce, James Roy and Lawrence Glenn of McMinnville, and eight grandchildren.  Rev. Bratton Tucker will conduct services in Love-Cantrell & Cope Chapel at 2 p.m. Friday.  Interment will be in Shady Grove Cemetery.

SWAFFORD, Marion  (1882 - 1953)

Marion Swafford Dies At Spencer
            Marion (Buckle) Swafford, resident of Spencer, died at his home Friday morning at 3:20 o’clock. He had been ill nine days.  Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Spencer Baptist church. Rev. Caldwell, Spencer minister, officiated and burial was in spencer cemetery.  Mr. Swafford was born August 4, 1882 the son of William Swafford and Peggy Collins Swafford and he was married to Miss Carrie Davis, who survives.  He was a member of the Church of God.  His wife is the only immediate survivor.  High Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

SWIFT, C. R.  (????-1952)

C.R. Swift Dies At Bradenton, Fla. Home
                              C.R. Swift, son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. S.E. Moore of McMinnville, died unexpectedly at his home in Bradenton Beach, Fla., Wednesday morning. His death followed a heart attack. Funeral services and burial took place in Bradenton yesterday. Mr.and Mrs. Everett Redd of Manchester and William Moore of McMinnville attended the rites. Mr. Swift was a retired  businessman and a veteran of World War I.  He was the husband of Mrs. Ruby Moore Swift, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Moore, and the couple had visited numerous times in the Moore home here.
