Additional information:

Mr. G.T. Bacon gave the following information:
The cemetery is on the old John Kincheloe farm. Thomas Bacon from Keeblers Cross Roads came here and married Mattie E. Kincheloe. That is how the cemetery is called the Bacon/Kincheloe Cemetery. In the west corner is a large field stone. Slaves of the Kincheloe family are buried there.
 
Clarence H. Bacon had returned from attending Mitchell Springs School nearby. He was standing on the front porch of the house across the road, eating a sweet potato. Another child in the house, picked up a loaded and gun and fired it. The bullet went through the window and killed Clarence.
