History of Washington County, Tennessee, 1988 by the Watauga Association of Genealogists:

p.236   Frederick [Bell] married Sarah Ann More, (born 1829). Children:  Eliza Ann, Marie Elen, Amanda Jane, George, James, Mary and Thomas Jefferson (born 1 December 1861).

Thomas married Loretta Lincoln Vines, (born 11 September 1867), the only child of Abner S. and Ann E. Fine Vines. Later, Abner married Susannah Hyder, then, Margaret Miller. The Bell, Leach and Vines families are related through these three marriages.

Tom and Lorettašs children:  Homer Chester, Carl David, Oscar Raymond, (married Quincey Williams), Nora Hester, (married C.E. Griggs), Alvin Jackson, (married Minnie Barnett), Roxie Mae, Charles Grayson, twin girls (unnamed), and Dillie Marie, (married T.J. Roseberry).
