John DUNN, wife, Mary"Polly", and 7 children: James, Martha, Nancy, Azariah,
Littleton, Benjamen and Eli, were on
1830 White Co.Tn census. They had come from SC bet.1821-1830. They left
about 1832 for Hardin Co Ky, then Grayson Co, then Breckinridge Co Ky.
All I'm looking for are any records, no matter how trivial. They
prob.owned no land. No one died there, to our knowledge, but 3 of
their children were born in White Co.: Littleton, Benjamen and Eli. They
probably owned no land and had little money. They probably only
stayed about 10 years. Has anyone come across their names before? As

I am trying to locate information about any James ANDERSON that was
in the White County area around 1818. My GGGG grandfather, Morgan
Bryan(t) died in that year and James Anderson was left $32. This is
assumed to be due to James Anderson's marriage to one of Morgan's
daughters. The 1850 census has 4 different James Andersons, but only
one has a wife that could have been born during Morgan's child
bearing years. James ANDERSON, age 62, is listed as having a woman
in the house named Rutha, age 50. This means that Rutha was born in
1800. Does anyone have information about this James ANDERSON, or
more importantly, his "wife"? Does anyone have information that ties
all of the White County James ANDERSONs together? My Morgan did not
name any of his seven daughters in his will, so the identity of the
wife of the James ANDERSON in legal documents may be the only way to
identify his daughter. Thanks...Jeff Bryant
