In researching my g-great uncle, the name of WHITTEN was on his death
certificate for his mother, Sarah Alice. My g-great father's death
certificate didn't list her maiden name. Sarah Alice married
Jonathon W. JOHNSON about 1850 in or around White Co. due to the
birth of their first child, Mins T. in March of 1851. Found a Whitten family
listed in the 1850 White Co. Census listing a Sarah and about the correct age.
Would like to find more out about the WHITTEN family in White Co. and
to see if it is the family I'm looking for.
Your time and information would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for any reference or information regarding the marriage of
Abraham Barger, s/o Gasper and Elizabeth Brown Barger, to the widow
Clemens/Clements who lived in Sparta, White Co. TN about 1815-1820.
Believed Clemens husband died there after 1816. Barger family also
there at that time. Clemens and Bargers moved to Boone Co. MO about
1820-1821 and Clemens/Barger marriage was probably in MO 1821-1825.
Some Clemens children may have been born in Sparta -names- John W,
Charles Augustin, Adeline Clemens. Any reference to these families,
births, deaths, marriage would be greatly appreciated.
