is taken from the TN Land Grants Vol I. He later moved to Madison Co.
KY where he died. He is my husband's gg-grandfather.He was born in

This was circa 1880-1890. He possibly had a daughter named Nancy & 2

I am looking for the Family of Thomas Allen Durham who was listed in
the 1870 as living in District 6 of White County, Tenn. He was
married to Mariah Nichols from Smith county. They had 4 children
Thomas J., Elizabeth, Matthew and Haden . Thomas was a blacksmith.
They did live in DeKalb County in the 1860 census.

I am searching for any descendants or relatives of Doc Pressly of
Tanglewood Tn. He had a brother named Enoch and a sister named Nancy.
I found Doc Pressly`s name listed in an archived 1920 newspaper as
being sick at home in Tanglewood, Tn. I would like to correspond with
any of his descendants and/or relatives.

I find HOWARD and HUTSON and both came from White county sparta, TN.
We are descended from them and wonder if anybody else is doing
reaearch on these particular families. And maybe out Stewarts are
also from the same area as STEWART married HUTSON and a HUTSON
married HOWARD. Our families were all in Ark abt same time. Lois

Looking for John William White of Tennesee descendents and upper
lineage. I know one of wives were Cora Stroud and they lived in
Arkansas. But what of his parents, etc. He was born in Tennesee 10
March 1870 and that's all I know. He was my maternal great
grandfather. I have lots of lineage to add to this history.

I am looking for information on "Jenky" JENKINS (1775-1838)(?), his
two wife; Anna BEAM (1779-1815)(?) & Nancy WELLS (????-????)(?) all
susposedly b. in Lincoln Co., N.C. One of their sons David Beam
JENKINS (1815-1890)(?)married Angeline TURNER (1816-1848/1849) abt.
1834 in White Co., Tn. David was supposedly b. in White Co. and
Angeline was supposedly b. in either McMinn or Roane Co., Tn.
Angeline TURNER'S father was Daniel TURNER (abt.1789-8/7/1854)b. in
S.C. and d. in Washington Co., Mo. Daniel TURNER'S father was
Benjamin TURNER (abt.1769-bef.1870) b. in N.C. and d. in Washington
Co., Mo. "Jenky" JENKINS had 7 known children and some remained in
White Co., Tn. The girls married into the following known families:
ARNOLD, BRADSHAW, ROBERTS, AND SMITH. One son married a LITTLE. I am
trying to trace the JENKINS line because that line led to my 1st
maternal grand mother and the TURNER line led to my 2nd maternal
grand mother.

Josephine McKAY was born in Bon Air in 1914. Her mother was Agnes L.
Banks and her father was Ben Ewing McKay. His mother's maiden name
was Baxter, first name was Ellen or Hellen. I'm looking for any info
