I am looking for information on Benjamin Franklin Scoggin, born White
County 25 Apr 1832. He married Martha Rose "Mattie" Black and had two children --
William Jacob (b.1859 in Arkansas) and John Richmond Scoggin (b. 1862 in Arkansas).
Benjamin F. Scoggin enlisted with the 19th Arkansas Infantry in 1862, so I'm not sure how
long his particular line of the family was in White County.
I believe his father was John Scoggin, Jr., b. 1784, who by some
accounts was born in PA, others VA. White County is the furthest back that I can confirm this
part of my family going back, so I thought I'd see if anyone had any helpful

County, Tenn., emigrated to the Oregon Territory in 1852 and died
March 9,1883 in Corvallis, Oregon. He married SLYVIA WILTSEY on

I am looking for information on Elrod family who lived around Polk
and Fannin counties - Copperhill, Blue Ridge, McCaysville area.
Samuel Elrod first married Amanda Grant, had children, divorced and
married Lucinda Fowler in 1884, had children. They were living
around this area as late as 1927. Any information appreciated.

I am looking for info on a Cora SCOTT b. abt 1903, and her husband
Hiram KEITH b. 1900 d.1965 and his parents Robert KEITH b. in TN and
Martha (SCOTT) KEITH b. in TN
Cora and Hiram moved to Ohio some time before 1922 and had 3
children. Hiram moved back to Sparta at some point before he died in
1965 though I do not know if Cora came with him or not. any info

Trying to locate the parents of Avery Norris, born 5/15/1859. Avery
married Mary Catherine Bradley in Williamson Co. in 1881. His obit
says he was born in White County. He died 8/18/1923 in Davidson Co.
One research said his father was listed as Alford on the death
certificate but I do not have mothers name or any more info.

Looking for information on Henry D. LITTREAL who was born about 1842
in TN. His first wife was Elizabeth J. HOLLOWAY in AL and his second
wife was Alice Belle HACKER married in AR, but according to the
information on ancestry.com, when they married she was going by the
name of Alice B. DALTON, as she had been married 3 times prior to
Henry. I'm interrested in knowing who his parents were, where they
