SMART, WEBB

I am looking for the family of William and Betsey WEBB. In 1850, Betsey was staying with Alfred SMART and William was staying with Richard SMART both in Campbell County, Kentcuky. Their place of birth is listed as Tennessee. Both Richard's wife Martha (b abt 1824) and Alfred's wife Nancy (b abt 1825) were born in Tennessee as well. I am sure there is a connection between the WEBBs and these SMARTs, but I cannot find them. William went on to marry Isabella SMART June 18, 1851 in Campbell County, KY. I am unsure of where in Tennessee these people come from. Can anyone help me?

PORTER, GASTON, WORLEY, WHIRLEY, BROCK, YATES, KEENER, DALE, MOLLOY

John Porter died 1831 in White Co., TN, with 9 devizes, or heirs. Land records gave these heirs: Samuel Porter(1), Mary/Polly Porter, widow of deceased heir Joshua Porter(2), John Keener for his wife Sarah/Sallie Porter(3), Jacob Keener for his wife Elizabeth Ann "Bettie" Porter(4), Cynthia Porter Yates(5), widow of George Yates, and Jane Porter? Gaston(6), widow of Mr. Gaston. Three heirs remain. If John Porter's widow outlived him, would she have been a devise? Would she still have been a devise if she and John had separated, and John had deeded land as her portion? Is it possible neither remaining heirs nor their representatives signed papers pertaining to the land sale because the two purchasers of the land, Mr. Dale and Mr. Molloy, were married to heirs of John Porter? Or maybe were heirs (grandchildren) of John Porter? Is it likely that paperwork where remaining heirs agreed to the land sale didn't get filed at the courthouse? Or is it likely remaining heirs had their parts prior to John Porter's death?

WHITE, LAMON, CROW

Seeking information on Samuel WHITE, born 1800, possibly White County, TN. He married Leticia Lidia LAMON of Tennessee. He died around 1880 in Morgan County, Alabama, and was carried back to Tennesee, his birthplace, for burial. Migrated to Morgan County, Alabama where he made his home close to Decatur, Alabama. His forbears are believed to be the WHITE Family of Antrim County, Ireland, which emigrated to the United States via North Carolina and migrated south. Samuel WHITE's son, William Barton WHITE, was born in Alabama and married Marah Elvira Sarah Elizabeth CROW, the daughter of Issac and Emily CROW, from Virginia. It is believed that Issac and Emily CROW hailed from Virginia (Cherokee, Chickasaw, Seminole.) William Barton WHITE was a Circuit Baptist Preacher in Morgan County, Alabama. He lost his wife in the early 1880's, probably due to complications of childbirth. William Barton WHITE is buried in the Whitehall Methodist Cemetery, in Whitehall, Jefferson County, Arkansas.

WILLIAMS, BOHNNON, HENRY, VANDIVER -WHITE COUNTY

In 1860, Dist.4, Putnam Co. George WILLIAMS age 20, and RACHEL, his sister age 17 are living with J.J.BOHANNON family. Living next door is PENNY WILLIAMS their mother and another sister JANE. Could anyone tell me about these families? Were they related, indentured, or hired farm hands? Penny was a VANDIVER who married Joe Williams who evidently died before 1860. RACHEL E is my ggrandmother who married GEORGE HENRY.I also wonder if she is the Rachel listed on the CHEROKEE final roll.
In 1830 Joseph Williams is living in White Co. In 1850, White Co., ELIZABETH WILLIAMS lives in Dist.4, possibly Joseph's mother. Joseph's son GEORGE is living in Dist.4 with a HOLDEN/HOLDER family.
If you have any info on these families please contact me. Thank you.
