I am trying to locate information on Silas Moore who married Morning
Moon and had a daughter named Emily Moore (later Quaid) sometime
around 1818. I am using this service because I saw a Silas Moore
listed. In my records in 1901 Silas was already deceased and his
daughter was applying for identification as a Mississippi Choctaw.

My great grandmother (Brettie/Birdie Lovell) is around 89 years old
and currently lives in Wymore, NE. She is a romnichel (english
gypsy). She claims to have been born in Dibrell, TN. Had to be
around 1917. He father is Dick Mullins/Mullens. Mother is Janie
(maiden name is "Small"). I'm sure they didn't stay put for long but
I'm wondering if there may be a record of her birth and info on her
parents. Granny doesn't read or write so spelling is limited.

I am trying to locate the parents of my gggrandfather William
CANTRELL b. 1824. His Mexican War papers say he was born in
Spartanburg, SC. He married Margaret Wilson in Cherokee Co. Alabama
toward the end of the Civil War. In her deposition to receive
William's pension after his death, she said Merrill Cantrell, his
uncle was witness to their marriage. I have researched Merrill and
can't identify how Willaim fits into the family. James and Kizzie
Cantrell from Smithville, Dekalb County, Tn had a William b. 1824,
but I cannot connect the two as of yet. If anyone has info that would
help me, I would appreciate any tidbit of info. Thanks-Brenda

I am looking for anyone that may be researching the Hardin names, or
Carey, on some of the pages here. Milford Carey has been listed as
Casy, a typo I am sure, James Hardin married Priscilla Carey, her
father may Milford Carey.
As well I am looking for a maybe connection with Greene Hardin of SC,
James is often listed as born SC, middle name Greene. Any replies

OK My Father was Johhny Douglas Ramsey bn. 9-25-1944 passed 7-23-1980
Father was Winfred Sherman Ramsey bn 4-15-1920 Passed 8-8-1992 He was
married to a Juanita Holloway Ramsey Riggs ( have no information on
her, she left my father at age 3 with Grandparents) my Great
grandfather was Arlie Ramsey bn, 6-3-1900 passed 12-13-1980 married
to Printha Ramsey bn. 8-22-1903 passed 9-3-1990. Now I know I should
have been able to gt information out of them about the family, but

Could someone tell me what Langford, Lankford lines lived in White Co
Tn abt 1800,1820,and wasn't White Co part of the Franklin Terr of NC
at that time?. My GGuncle Vachel Langford was believed to been brn in
White Co abt 1804,and was his brother Silas Lankford also brn in
White Co abt 1812. I believe that their parents were Thomas Langford
brn abt 1778 NC,and Phebe unk. Phebe was believed to been Shawnee. I
would also like to know if Thomas had brothers or uncles named
Benjamin,and John Langford both brn NC/VA?.
Also looking for any Choat,Choate surname in White Co abt 1800.

JARVIS- Cornelius Jarvis married Mahala ? about 1818 in White County.
The couple had moved to Tennessee from North Carolina. I'm looking
for some record of the marriage that might give the wife's maiden
name. The husband was born around 1794 and the wife about 1789 in
North Carolina. I am researching the family for a relative of
Cornelius and Mahala, a great granddaughter.
