My GG Grandfather was James M. BRASHEARS (born in White Co., Tenn in
1810). He married Mary Elizabeth Maribe Jones. He moved to
Arkansas--then to Angelina Co., Texas. I think his father was named
Berry. I found a Berry BASHERE on the White Co. 1820 census. Would
like any information on the BASHERES on this census.

There was a cousin who had gotten a hold of me. I believe her name
was Peggy & she lived in WA state. Her Mother's name was Helen
Johnson (maiden name) and she lived in Las Vegas. Helen was my
grandmother's sister. My grandmother's name was Cordia Elizabeth

Since my first posting, I have found information that William Lewis d
1812 in White County, Tn. married Mary John of Loudoun Co., Va, dau
of Thomas John and wife Martha unknown.
Samuel Harris, Jr. married Mary John, dau of Thomas John, Sr. and
wife Mary unknown. These families were all originally in Loudoun Co.,
Va.
My 3rd great grandparents are William Lewis d 1812 in White County,
Tn. and his wife Mary John.
I descend from their son Thomas Lewis b ca 1795 SC that married
Lucinda Dale, dau of John Dale and Frances Daniel.
I am trying to find the death date of Thomas Lewis. The last record I
have found was Thomas being listed in the 1860 White Co. Tn. census.
Any help on Thomas death date would be appreciated.
