White County.
What is the name of the county or town that would be "over the hill"
from Sparta in the 1870s? This is a genealogy based query. JOHN
REUBEN HILL b 1873 lived "over the hill" from Sparta in a foundling
home (his father died and mother remarried) until age 21 years and then
came over the hill to find his remarried mother who was living in
Sparta but he found she had died there. He stayed in Sparta to marry
EVA MAUDE PHELPS on 31 Mar 1895.
What towns or counties would be "over the hill"?
I appreciate your consideration.
