MARTIN

I am attempting to find the parents of George Robert MARTIN, born 1901, who married Polly SELBY about 1920 in White County. George was with his step-father William RUTHERFORD, born 1880 and mother in 1920. In 1910, he was with his grandfather George HUTSON, born 1848. I think this is the same George Hutson who married Mary LAW in the 1870's. I strongly believe George Robert Martin is off the Julius Martin family or possibly Charles Caffrey Martin. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

FARLEY, RICE, THOMASSON

Looking for info on the John and Nancy FARLEY family. Children: Susan (w/o Amedia RICE?), William & James J (twins?) and John S. (h/o Adeline JACKSON). Did Nancy remarry a W.L. THOMASSON? I'm thinking that John may have died during the civil war as I have found a Nancy FARLEY marriage license to Mr. THOMASSON in 1866 and can find my GGgrandfather (John S.) in the census with them. My side of the family eventually settled in the Calfkiller area of Putnam Co. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

COWEN, COWAN, BUCHANAN

Wilson COWEN and wife Eliza (nee BUCHANAN), migrated from an unknown county in Tenn. around 1842-1843 to Brown Co., Ohio. They were very likely freedmen or freed slaves. The US Census for 1850 says Wilson's father was from TN & his mother was from GA. Eliza died sometime in the early 1850s & Wilson died in 1879. They had 8 children, maybe a 9th named Annie, born in the early 1860s in OH. She had an account with the Freedmen's Bank & lists Wilson and Eliza as her parents. I want to find out where this family was from in TN & whether Annie was their daughter.

BEACHBAORD, BEECHBOARD

Still looking for where Rachael BEACHBOARD OR BEECHBOARD is buried. The last account of her was in the 1870 Jackson County, TN census. My first finding of Rachael or Rachel BEECHBOARD OR BEACHBOARD was in the 1850 Jackson County, TN Census. My grandfather and great-grandfather are buried in FLYNN Cemetery in Jackson County, TN. Is there any way to find out who is buried in that cemetery? There are many unmarked stones and maybe even graves we can't physically see. Any help is greatly appreciated.
